On 11th & 12th April we held the first of this years’ PAWS-GIST clinics in Cambridge.
Dr Bulusu and the specialist team were joined by oncologist Dr Georgina Wood from UCLH to consult with patients, six of whom were new to the clinic.
All expressed their thanks and gratitude for the existence of and work being undertaken by the PAWS-GIST team:

“We would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication to the cause. Today has brought so many emotions. With 9 years of dreading the next scan results, to now having hope for the future was incredible”.
Dr Bulusu and the team continue to pursue all opportunities that have potential to improve treatments for PAWS-GIST patients. W are getting closer to our ambition of clinical trials for PAW-GIST patients …
